Intensive Driving Courses
No two drivers learning to drive are the same; therefore Intensive Driving Courses at Experience Driving are designed to meet individual needs.
As a rough guide, most new drivers will need to have around 40 hours of supervised driving experience before they are ready to meet the demands of Driving Lessons in Newcastle upon Tyne and the UK’s busy roads, but this is very much an average, and is a basic guideline recommended as a minimum by the Driving Standards Agency.
To determine what level of tuition you will need a 2 hour assessment drive with one of our instructors that will give us an opportunity to gain a better view of the standard you are starting off from, and therefore how many more hours may be required.
Flexible, Intense Courses
Our Intensive Courses are very flexible, and in most cases can be conducted according to your preference and availability. A 25-hour course for example can be arranged to run between Monday and Friday (5 hours per day), but equally can be spread over a greater number of days with between 2 and 4 hours in each driving session.
We are always happy to discuss any proposals for how you would want your course set out, and will meet your request as far as possible.
Courses can sometimes be arranged over a weekend, or consecutive weekends, so minimising the time you take off work. Please advise us of your preference at the time of booking. And don’t forget to specify from the start if you prefer to learn in an automatic.
